New Jersey author Christy Schillig brings a few author friends to Fred & June's Books in Denver, NC to feature her recent release for those who crave a slow burn, heartwarming and hilarious romantic comedy for lovers of Abby Jimenez and Christina Lauren!
On Saturday December 20th from 4-6pm Christy will be in store at our Denver location for a meet & greet and book signing, and she will also have special guest authors Christy Healy, J.H. Morgan and Ashely Manley joining her with their books that will have you set with your winter reading!
Christy Schillig is a middle school teacher who lives in a log cabin in suburban South Jersey with her two children, her husband/best-friend since 6th grade,band her dogs, Puppay and Sheep. Christy graduated from Villanova University with a degree in Italian Literature and Language (yes, that's a real degree) and uses that degree to commentate classroom science games in Italian and plan off the grid trips to the Italian Rivieras. On any given day, you can find her reading young adult paranormal romance beneath her desk at school.
Ashley Manley is a romantic women's fiction author whose stories weave the hardships of life with the hope (and a little spice) of love stories. When she's not hiding from her kids, you can find her outside on a trail or plotting her next big adventure.
J. H. Morgan is an author based in Charlotte, NC, who writes emotionally explosive, character-driven romance that blends sharp banter with high-stakes tension and enough angst to keep you up at night. Her debut novel, Hard Launch, features a Hollywood starlet, a broody bar owner, and one chaotic phone swap that changes everything.
Christy Healy is the author of the adult fantasy novels, Unbound and Unseen, and their upcoming companion novel, Undying (2026). She has been a lifelong reader and writer, weaving stories of her own into the myths and tales of the Celtic, Indo-European, and Greco-Roman worlds that she has loved for so long. She lives in North Carolina with her children, her dog, and her husband.
