Folk, Country, Americana meets pop melodies and stories of old.
Rachel’s ethereal vocals have brought her comparisons to Alison Krauss and Emmylou Harris. Her heartfelt lyrics and memorable melodies are as comforting as they are captivating. With a background in classical piano, choir, production and writing for other artists, Rachel infuses Moon Honeys’ music with a rich, textured sound. Dave is the perfect partner and compliment with his soulful and still pristine guitar work matched in a dynamic voice. His talent for accompaniment through music, honed over years of playing in various Pop, Rock, and World music bands (Including Jake Shimabukuro, Freddy Jones Band and Matt Morris), adds a maturity and authenticity to their sound.
Moon Honey’s music is characterized by its emotional depth, introspective lyrics, and lush arrangements. Their songs often explore themes of love, loss, and the beauty of everyday moments, drawing from their own experiences as a couple and their shared love of storytelling. With a growing fan base and critical acclaim, they have been praised for their ability to connect with audiences on a profound level.
Moon Honey has graced stages of all sizes, from intimate coffeehouses to the renowned Red Rocks Amphitheater.
