About the event

Maker Mornings: Art and Emotions
Join the Clyfford Still Museum for Maker Mornings on the Museum’s outdoor forecourt as we focus our explorations on how art makes us feel and how it might support emotional expression. We'll spend time in the galleries with a librarian from Denver Public Libraries for storytime before entering The Making Space, the hands-on creation studio directly connected to our galleries. We explore various materials, expand our ideas of what it means to create, and express ourselves through art. Maker Mornings are designed for children from 15 months to eight years old, with siblings of any age welcome.

No registration is required; walk-ins are welcome. You can drop in at any time during the program. Children 17 and under are always free at the Still.

The program's open-ended time allows all children to interact with the activities in unique ways. We encourage you to observe what your child gravitates towards, ask questions, and get curious!
