Intro to BDSM

Intro to BDSM is a welcoming, judgment-free workshop designed to give you a broad overview of kink, power exchange, and play. Whether you're brand new, curious, or looking to deepen your understanding, this class will cover the essentials of consent, communication, negotiation, and safety—the foundations of all ethical kink practices. This is a fully clothed event with no direct sexual touch where participants can explore at their own pace in a supportive and respectful environment.

We’ll dive into the many facets of BDSM, including power dynamics, scene planning, and different types of play. To bring these concepts to life, Fox and mtn grrl will lead live demonstrations of practices like sensation play, impact play, and violet wand. These demos are designed to show you how each tool or activity works, along with tips on how to do them safely and with intention.

After the demos, you’ll have the opportunity to try out any of the tools or toys in a low-pressure, educational setting, with Fox and mtn grrl available to guide you, answer questions, and offer advice. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or looking to expand your kinky toolkit, this class is a great place to start—or start again—with confidence, care, and community.

About Your Instructors:

Fox and mtn grrl have been active in the BDSM community since 2005.  They feel that their M/s relationship has helped them become better at communicating openly and honestly.  They enjoy sharing their experience with others in the BDSM community and those who are curious.

Our classes are research-based and educational.  All of our classes are intended for people 18 years of age and older. Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot now!
