This year, Dry Otter Waterproofing honors our nation’s heroes through our Veteran Waterproofing Giveaway. We know that many of our veterans face challenges after their service, including safe, reliable housing. Through this program, Dry Otter Waterproofing provides a free crawl space or basement waterproofing system to a deserving veteran within our service area at absolutely no cost to them.
The new waterproofing system will consist of labor and materials provided by Dry Otter Waterproofing.

Who can you nominate?
U.S. Military- We welcome nominations for Honorably Discharged Veterans from any branch of the United States Military. Widows of service members are eligible for nomination.
Must Own The Home- The Veteran must own their home, and live in an area serviced by Dry Otter Waterproofing to be eligible for nomination.
Background Check- The Veteran must consent to a background check as part of the nomination process.
Verifiable Waterproofing Need- The Veteran must have a crawl space or basement that is in need of repair/waterproofing or preventative waterproofing.
Open To Sharing Their Story- The Veteran must be open to participating in storytelling (photo and video for marketing purposes).

Program Timeline
The 2025 Veteran Waterproofing Giveaway will begin with the opening of the nomination period on Monday, September 1st. The winner will be chosen and notified by the end of October, with the waterproofing installation taking place in time to celebrate Veterans Day.
Nominations Open: September 1, 2025
Nominations Close: October 19, 2025
Winner Selection Process: October 20-24, 2025
Winner Notified: October 27, 2025
Project Installation: Selected Days Between November 3-7, 2025
Dry Otter Waterproofing employees and household members are not eligible to participate.
