About the event

Cochinilla Workshop: Textile & Natural Dye (Cochinilla)

📣 Join us for a hands-on experience with textile dyeing with Oaxacan artists Rodrigo Hernandez Quero and Reyna Garcia Martinez.

We will learn the technique of natural dyeing with cochinilla on cotton fibers. The cochinilla is a pest that grows on the prickly pear cactus, which creates a pink/lilac dye. 🌵🌷🌵

Capacity: 15 students
Cost: Museo Members: $10, Non-Members: $15
