Art & Asana: A New Year Yoga + Art Meditation Workshop

Intention is the quiet spark that shapes everything we move toward. It’s the inner whisper that directs our energy long before action ever begins. When we set an intention we’re choosing the direction our heart wants to face. By setting intentions, we anchor down deeper into our purpose and rise to our power.

An intention anchors us. It reminds us of who we want to be and how we want to feel, especially when life gets loud. It turns small choices into meaningful ones and transforms ordinary moments into aligned ones.

New Years is a perfect time to set intentions for the year to come. 

Please join Hannah and Kirstie for a grounding, two-hour experience to step into the New Year with clarity, creativity, and intention. We’ll begin with a restorative one-hour yoga class led by Hannah, focused on breath, gentle movement, and opening the body so inspiration can flow naturally into the second half of the workshop.

Afterward, Kirstie will guide you through a mindfulness-based art meditation, where you’ll explore your intentions through intuitive, reflective art making. All supplies are provided, and no art or yoga experience is necessary.

A peaceful reset, a creative ritual, and a powerful way to begin your year with purpose. Join us Sunday January 4th from 5-7pm at The River Yoga in Sunnyside.
