Denton’s Dummest Marathon 2026

Join us for the 7th annual run around the courthouse! 133 laps make a marathon, but you can run as much or as little as you’d like.

We’ll meet at Andy’s RV on the Oak Street side of the square at 7 am for a group photo and then get running!

This is a fatass run, a potluck of suffering if you will, so bring what you’d like for fueling and a little extra to share.

We’ll update the event closer to New Year’s Day with some thoughts about the weather and plans for after.

There’s also a group that likes to run the year, it looks good on Strava, and we condone it.
