Join us as we practice playing our Djembe drums! We are not professionals or master drummers. We mostly work on fundamentals, learning to refine the 3 sounds; bass, tone and slap. This is about fellowship, team work and bringing a more powerful sound to the NTX Drum Circle.
Any experience level is welcome, even if you have no experience. We only ask that you be a participant of the NTX Drum Circle hosted here at Love's Way.
Apart from practicing fundamentals, any participant is welcome to bring new ideas that they've been practicing. If you have a favorite pattern or practice technique, we would love to learn. Our group prefers humility to pride, in this we create a better atmosphere to learn and grow in!
Class is from 7:30 to 8:30.
When weather permits we can practice outside. If we're not outside, we'll be inside the studio building.

Take Main St East, this turns into FM120.
Go a half a mile from town and turn Right onto FM1753.
Stay on FM1753 for 2.8 miles and look for the Singletree Rd sign.
Turn Left onto Singletree Rd, this will turn into Oak Ridge Rd.
Continue for 2 miles through some turns, you will see the sign for Love’s Way on the Left.
Enter the private drive and go over the bridge, continue and you’ll see another gate for Love’s Way on the right.
