Macabre Nights at the Enterprise Museum
Step inside… if you dare…
Ah, good evening, my unfortunate guests. I am your humble servant, here to usher you into the shadowy corridors of history—the parts rarely spoken of in polite company. You see, history is not all glory and grandeur. No… it reeks of rotting flesh, failed experiments, and restless spirits that scratch at the walls of time.
And so, under the dim glow of lantern light, you are invited to the Enterprise Museum for Macabre Nights—a chilling series hosted by local writer and journalist Robin Mimna, who delights in digging up the darker, grosser, and ghostlier sides of our past.
Do join us, if you have the stomach:
Saturday, September 6th · 7–9 PM
The Botched Embalming of Queen Elizabeth I
Come hear of foul stench, bursting coffins, and the ghastly royal remains that horrified all of England.
Saturday, October 4th · 7–9 PM
Ghost Stories of Old Volusia
We return to our own haunted soil—specters, whispers, and the blood-soaked legends of West Volusia past.
Saturday, November 8th · 7–9 PM
The Morbid Origin of Vampires
Unearth the grotesque roots of bloodsuckers: corpses that swelled, leaked, and clawed from their graves to feast upon the living.
Wednesday, December 17th · 7–9 PM
The Ghosts of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol*
Long before holiday cheer, Dickens filled his pages with rattling chains, chilling phantoms, and the grave’s cold reminder.
So polish your coffin nails, steel your nerves, and join us in the flickering candlelight. Macabre Nights will leave you chilled, thrilled, and ever so slightly ill.
I’ll be waiting… at the door.
