The "core four" have been together for more than a decade (Ken - vocals, Lou - Guitar, Tom - Bass, Peter - Drums) and have performed hundreds of shows. They are joined by the uniquely talented guitarist & vocalist Tim D'Andrea, and JC Vazz on keyboard....both of whom are part of the GREAT TRIBUTE BANDS musical family.
We're often asked what genre of music we play, but it's hard to put us in a box. We draw inspiration from a wide range of genres, from classic rock to outlaw country to blues/rock and from the bands we pay tribute to in our concert-level tribute bands (Eagles, Bob Seger, Allman Brothers) so our sound is "ours" and is dynamic and always evolving.
PERFORMER BIO:
STRAY DOGS is many things: it’s a group of musical friends who have played hundreds of shows together, its Allman Brothers in a scaled down but authentic way, it’s the best of Bob Seger and The Eagles, its “Superstition” in a way that would make Stevie (and Stevie) proud, its The Band, Skynyrd and The Black Crowes.. It’s the Outlaw Country of Willie Nelson and others and the modern country of Chris Stapleton and others WITH beautiful electric violin, it’s some Classic Rock, its funk, its Stray Dog-infused versions of familiar songs you love…it’s really good musicianship…its vocals you don’t often get to hear from a local band…its guys who can play anything (and have) but LOVE to play this…and best yet its guys who are close friends and will present music to you in a way only close friends can.
AND WHAT ELSE.....Stray Dogs features the core members of some of Florida's best concert-level tribute bands: "BEAUTIFUL LOSER....a tribute to Bob Seger" and "THE ALLMAN REVIVAL" (Allman Brothers Tribute)....and "EAGLES REVIVAL" and "YACHT ROCK"...and so you will hear great versions of songs from these bands...plus so much more!
