Phil Varca & The SlamJammers

A 3-piece rockin' blues band whose Stevie Ray/Hendrix influences can easily be recognized.
In 2025, the group marks 36 years together, having played thousands of live shows and being known for their high-energy performances. Their typical "concert set" will include almost all original music with a few tribute songs by artists who have inspired them.

PERFORMER BIO:
Phil Varca & The Slam Jammers (PVSJ) are an original group based in Long Island, NY and have been together for over 35 years, playing their brand of Rockin' Blues and Blues/Rock. The trio has played a few thousand shows of all types/sizes. The past few years they have focused primarily on festivals and support/opening slots for national touring acts. PVSJ most recently supported Indigenous on their last tour as well as Robin Trower locally on his last two tours. Their additional billings/appearances include Buddy Guy, Joe Bonamassa, Foghat, Chris Duarte, Dave Mason, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, NRBQ, Double Trouble, Shemekia Copeland and Popa Chubby.
