Fav’s Pool Tournament Season 4

 is a 21-week competitive series starting March 1, 2026, designed to test the versatility of local players. Unlike standard leagues, this season uses a "Wheel of Fate" format where the specific game played is randomly selected each night.

How the Tournament Works

• The Schedule: The season runs for 21 consecutive weeks.
• The Twist: Players won't know the game format until the wheel is spun. You must be proficient in six different styles of pool to succeed.
• Redemption Rounds: Weeks 10, 15, and 20 are "Closed Rounds" reserved specifically for players who have not yet won a match, providing a fair chance at a comeback. 

The Game Formats

1. Straight 8 (APA Rules): Traditional 8-ball; you must call your final pocket for the 8-ball.
2. Straight 9 (APA Rules): Traditional 9-ball; you must call your final pocket for the 9-ball.
3. Magic 8: A faster "Race to 2" format. You do not need to call your shots.
4. Magic 9: A "Race to 2" format where sinking the 9-ball at any point in the game results in an instant win.
5. Bank the 8: To win, the 8-ball must be banked off a cushion. Scratching does not result in an automatic loss unless the 8-ball actually drops.
6. 10-Ball: The most technical format; every single shot must be called. 

The Path to the Championship

To reach the Champion of Champions Tournament, players must finish the season ranked in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. The tournament maintains strict "Chip Counts" (player rankings/handicaps), ensuring that only those who consistently perform at a high level qualify for the finale.
