General Rules for One Guys Garage Drag Weekend:
All cars and drivers must meet participating track rules and regulations. Text me at 763-221-1755 if you have questions about this. All rulings of any track official are final. Vehicles must be street legal, licensed, and insured for highway use.
Rules will be enforced and are subject to change.
The total mileage for the route is approximately 310 miles.
Drag tires are REQUIRED for racing. You can either make the trip driving on them or change them at the track. Drag tires are defined as 100 tread wear rating or lower numerically. Radials, bias ply slicks, etc., just no hard as a rock street tires tearing up the racing surface. The track operators and other racers appreciate it. Hard street tires tear the rubber off the track and create bald spots.
You are not allowed to tow your race vehicle from track to track. You must carry everything you will need for the weekend in or on your race vehicle or pull a trailer with your race vehicle. Fuel and ice does not have to be hauled and can be purchased at the tracks but CAN NOT be hauled by others. No size restrictions on the trailer you can pull.
We are not regulating the vehicles your family or friends may be following along with. We welcome and encourage you to bring them to this event but they must NOT be used to transport spare parts only to rescue you in the event you need the trailer to haul your broken vehicle. Also please refrain from following directly behind. You should be INVISIBLE to the groups of racers. If your race vehicle has to go onto a trailer or be towed, you will be disqualified. It must run 100% of the time on its own power. Pushing by hand is accepted if needed to move a short distance.
