Summer fun! Our one-day camps feature two large projects, and often a smaller project if time allows. We break between projects for lunch and we provide a scoop of ice cream or treat to go with their meal. Weather permitting we eat outside and play games.
One-day camps run from 9 am to 3 pm. You can pack a lunch or send money to order lunch.
Our camps are designed for art fun and learning. At a Soul Fire Art Camp we measure success by by the strengthening of your child’s creative “muscles” ~ not on their ability to make a project that matches our samples. Each lesson presents a different design challenge in a different media.
Our favorite part of the day is when we see your child's "I made this face."
Each camp includes:
Variety - each project uses different media and different skills so that participants have multiple experiences.
Use of professional quality art tools and materials in a variety of media as well as instruction by Soul Fire veterans who are student teachers / trained artists.
Projects do not repeat from class to class. You can combine as many one and three day camps as you would like without repeating the same project.
Additional Info:
Camps are open to those who have completed grades 1 and up. Last year, campers ranged from 6 - 14 with the majority in the 7-10 range.
Please verify that you are comfortable with the various project media. We provide PPE, but glass is sharp.
Art is messy - please dress appropriately!
Projects may change due to the availability of supplies but will stay in the same media and projects are not repeated.
