SCHC Jingle Bell All Breed Horse Show

HITS Del Mar Horse Park in conjunction with the Pinery Christmas Tree Nursery. Come sketch the horse show or trees. Throwdown at 11 am

The Del Mar Horse Park is NOT at the fairgrounds, but to the east, off El Camino Real. The Horsepark underwent a multi-million-dollar renovation in 2023 and is a very nice place to sketch. Last year we sketched at picnic tables at the south side of the Grand Prix arena. This will be my first choice of where to sit. We will possibly have our throwdown on the south side of the Grand Prix arena or maybe near the food court. (See map pictured)

The obvious rules (but I guess it should be said) are to be quiet if sitting within earshot of the judges and to absolutely stay out of the path of the horses and riders. They will be traversing between stables, arenas, and etc, so please observe for a while before setting up to make sure it’s not even near the path of the horses.
