Main Street Fitness summons you to our soul-stirring, second-year team fitness challenge, a sacred vow to honor the fallen heroes of September 11th—those who ran toward danger, who gave their lives, and whose courage forever burns in our hearts.
On Saturday, September 6th at 8:00am we will face unrelenting obstacles that weave the story of that fateful day, pushing our bodies and spirits to stand united under one God, and one nation. Every heartbeat, every drop of sweat, every step forward is how we live daily to honor their sacrifice. Rally your fearless team, choose your team name, train with unbreakable resolve, and conquer this mission of remembrance! We call on police officers, first responders, military, government employees, and our entire community to rise as one in this defining moment.
The six obstacles, named below, will consist of using cargo nets, rope climbing, hitting a bell, climbing/crossing buildings, throwing heavy objects over a wall, and crawling under cargo nets. Each team’s captain swims a short distance in the lake to retrieve a flag, which will be carried throughout the event. The team takes turns carrying the flagpole—representing the fallen—throughout the course.
