The Producers: Behind the Scenes with Western Mass Movie Makers

We invite all visitors to an after-museum-hours experience of the Pioneer Valley Picture Show exhibit with other like-minded movie lovers. Cinema-themed snacks and refreshments will be provided and a guided tour by Ray Radigan, the exhibit curator will take place at 5:15pm.

As a gift to our film fans, we are hosting a Panel Discussion with movie makers with ties to Western Mass.

At 6pm, Gretchen McGowan, film producer at Goldcrest Films and author will deliver her experiences in film making as well as discuss her new book “Flying In: My Adventures in Filmmaking”. We will also have a behind-the-scenes dialogue with Flonia Telegrafi and Dien Vo, Film Professors at Mount Holyoke College where they will review their journeys and portfolios and discuss their current endeavor, a documentary filmed right in Western Mass! A discussion moderated by our curator, we invite the audience to engage in an open dialogue with these filmmakers.

A rare opportunity for students, film makers, and movie lovers alike and not one to be missed.
