Our annual chili feed is coming up again. As usual we will have door prizes. Free will donation for food. There will be chili, grilled cheese sandwiches, nachos and cheese,, cookies and bars.
All proceeds we use to help improve and upgrade our equipment to help keep us and you safe and work in a more efficient and effective manor.
With profits in years past items such as Thermal Imager, Emergency scene ahead signage, LED flashing slow/stop signs for car accident scenes, Auto cribbing for stabilization at accidents, Battery Powered Jaws of life systems.
Looking forward at items like rescue struts, better more efficient hand tools. Or some upgrades to some of our trucks to keep up to the ever changing world of firefighting with newer technologies that keep firefighters safer which in turn gives you better protection.
We are changing things up this year by having the Chili feed in the Fire Hall. We do this event as a social event and to help bring awareness to fire safety and feel that hosting it in our Hall can provide an atmosphere where questions are asked and a better understanding of what our firefighters have and work with.
