Right Action, Steady Ground: Yoga Philosophy Workshops with Mandi King coming to DRiFT: Strength & Yoga Center October 24 & 25th!
•
This three-part workshop series with Mandi King (she/her) explores Yoga’s ethical teachings as a living, anti-colonial framework for action, responsibility, and self-understanding.
•
On Friday evening, Yoga’s Ethical Theory — Right Action, Right Outcome introduces Yoga’s distinct approach to ethics: centering right action itself, rather than striving for perfection, outcomes, or inherited rules.
•
Saturday morning’s Sovereignty in Action — Īśvara and the Three Kriyā of Yoga deepens the study through the practices of tapas, svādhyāya, and devotion to Sovereignty (Īśvara praṇidhāna), grounding participants in personal responsibility and conscious choice. •
The series closes Saturday afternoon with The Eight Limbs of Yoga — The Kickstand When There is Trouble, a practical exploration of the Eight Limbs as steadying tools for navigating challenge, including a movement practice that integrates philosophy with embodiment.
•
Together, these sessions invite you to engage with Yoga not as abstract theory, but as the art of living rightly in relationship with self and others.
$50/workshop | $135 to bundle the weekend’s series
