Walk to Work Day

Walk to Work Day encourages residents to rethink their daily commute and consider walking—whether it’s all the way to work, part of the trip, or just a short detour along the way.

There’s no formal event—just a community-wide invitation to walk when and where it makes sense for you. Walk from home, park a little farther away, walk to a transit stop, or take a lunchtime walk to break up the day.

Walking to work supports physical and mental well-being, reduces traffic and emissions, and helps create safer, more walkable streets for everyone.
