**Jackson County Line live at Eddie's Attic!**
Jackson County Line has traversed many treacherous and crooked roads to arrive at the distinctive brand of Americana they bring to stages today. Ear sticky songwriting laced with cello, hypnotically placed ambiance, tangible hooks, and toe-tapping power grooves have garnered a growing fan base for the Atlanta five-piece.
Formed in 2006, Jackson County Line performs throughout the Southeast. Regulars at renowned Atlanta listening room Eddie’s Attic, they have also enjoyed the stages of Variety Playhouse, the Red Clay Theater, Madlife Stage and Studio, and dozens of other venues throughout the Southeast. They have also been featured on the PBS series “Georgia Country Connection”, the TBS series Storyline, Fox 5’s Good Day Atlanta, and were regular guests on WRFG 89.3. JCL have been regular performers at the Dogwood Festival, the Virginia Highland Summerfest, and Grant Park’s Summer Shade Festival.
Jackson County Line has released five studio albums over the past 20 years. Their self-titled debut introduced a sound that, as Paste Magazine described it, “camps out on the mellow end of the alt-country spectrum.” Since then, the band has expanded their sonic palette and dynamic range while retaining the subtlety and nuance that fans came to love. Whether they’re tearing the roof off or performing with the intimacy of an unplugged set, JCL continues to explore the full range of their musical identity with depth and confidence.
Kevin Jackson puts the heart into Jackson County Line’s distinctive blend of Americana. He covers the lead vocals and acoustic guitars. Tim Anderson plays cello and lends a hand to the lush vocal harmonies. Jonny Daly bridges the melodic and rhythmic gap on electric guitar. Greg Partridge fills in the bottom on bass and Paul Barrie keeps it all moving on drums and percussion.
