Az adventi közös gyertyagyújtásokkal elérkezik az évnek az az időszaka, amikor belépünk a karácsonyi ünnepkör kapuján és elkezdjük készíteni lelkünket a fény megszületésére 💫.
Városunkban immáron hagyomány, hogy a történelmi egyházak képviselőivel és a város vezetőivel közösen gyújtjuk meg az adventi gyertyákat.
Szeretetteljes ünnepség a város szívében, ahol ismerősök és ismeretlenek együtt élhetik át a karácsony várásának időszakát .
Az adventi koszorún pislákoló kis láng nemcsak fényt, hanem reményt is ad, hogy a világosság a legnagyobb sötétségben is utat talál 🌟.
A Debreceni Advent negyedik gyertyagyújtására érkezőket 16:30-kor várjuk a Régi Városháza előtt, majd innen indul a hagyományőrző menet a Szent Családdal, pásztorokkal és a háromkirályokkal a Református Nagytemplomhoz, ahol meggyújtjuk a negyedik gyertyát.
Ezen a vasárnapon a betlehemi lánggal gyújtjuk meg a szeretet lángját, melyet mindenki hazavihet az otthonába.

With the communal Advent candle lightings, the time of year arrives when we step through the gate of the Christmas season and begin preparing our hearts for the birth of light 💫.
In our city, it has become a tradition to light the Advent candles together with representatives of the historic churches and the city’s leaders.
A warm and welcoming celebration in the heart of the city, where both familiar faces and strangers can experience the anticipation of Christmas together.
The small flickering flame on the Advent wreath brings not only light but also hope, guiding the way even through the darkest moments 🌟.
Guests attending the fourth Advent candle lighting of Debrecen are welcome at 16:30 in front of the Old Town Hall, from where a traditional procession will begin, accompanied by the Holy Family, shepherds, and the Three Kings, leading to the Reformed Great Church, where the fourth candle will be lit.
On this Sunday, the candle of love will be lit with the Bethlehem flame, which everyone can take home to their own houses.
