Forty Feet Tall has cemented their place in the scene as one of the Pacific Northwest’s most exciting acts. With a brand new album, Clean the Cage, produced by Cameron Spies (Spoon Benders, Blackwater Holylight, The Shivas), they showcase a wide range of post-punk sounds that are both volatile and intimate. But the biggest buzz around the band is their live shows. Whether they’re opening for Shame, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Wine Lips, or headlining themselves, the members leave every single thing out on stage with gigs routinely ending in incendiary showstoppers that find the lead singer tangled up in mic cords or diving into the crowd. Dover-born singer-songwriter Joe Mulroe is an emerging talent with a sound that blends heartfelt lyricism, acoustic warmth, and a distinctively soulful voice. With his six-string guitar always by his side, Joe has been steadily building a name for himself across East Kent, performing in intimate back rooms, lively bars, and festival stages.
Drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres, Joe’s live sets are a carefully crafted mix of well-loved covers and original songs — showcasing both his musicianship and a growing catalogue of deeply personal, melody-driven work. Though early in his journey, Joe’s dedication and natural stage presence have already earned him a loyal following and a reputation for captivating performances.
