Cocoon will be hosting its 2nd annual chili cook-off on Sunday, October 19th! There will be 10 chef spots available.
The cost for entry is $25 and includes four drink tokens. Contestants must arrive no later than 2pm with their chili prepared and ready to be served. Judging will begin at 2:30pm. There will be a giant screen outside to watch the Packers play at 3:25pm.
The brewery will supply bowls and spoons and have a table for basic garnishes, but chefs may bring anything that will enhance their chili.
Contestants will need to provide their own ladle, warming vessel and an extension cord if electricity is required to keep the chili warm.
Rules:
-Each contestant must provide a minimum of 10 quarts of chili.
-Any chili goes. noodles/no noodles, chicken, beef, pork, vegan, green chili, white, etc.
-We will have 3 judges doing a blind tasting. They will be given a sealed numbered container to judge at the start of the competition.
-The winner of the blind tasting will receive a trophy and gift card to Cocoon, along with a certificate good for one free cocoon rental.
-The winner of the people's choice voting will receive a gift card and free cocoon rental
