18th ANNUAL JUNE NELSON & NICKI CHANDLER MEMORIAL RIDE

Nelsons Ranch will host the 18th Annual June Nelson & Nicki Chandler Memorial Ride at Noon on Saturday, October 11, 2025 with the next day, Sunday, October 12 as an alternate in case of foul weather.

On this occasion, Nelsons Ranch honors and remembers June Nelson who owned and started this horse ranch and was famous for her all day rides throughout Indian Springs Metro Park and Pontiac Lake Recreation Area.

Secondly, we honor and remember Nicki Chandler who was also famous for her all day rides and indeed, as a partner, helped make this ranch into the horse heaven it is today.

Prior to departure Nelsons Ranch will provide a complimentary and very nutritious breakfast of cider & donuts and apple fritters from Diehls Cider Mill.

To honor their memory we invite you to join us for a beautiful and relaxed ride and a champagne toast after a great ride home!
