Fall 2025 Comms Council "From Labs to Lives" Edition

This half-day event will focus on From Labs to Lives, the campaign UC Davis has launched to demonstrate how federally funded UC Davis research improves lives in our community, our state and our world. The campaign aims to influence policymakers, engage the public and strengthen our research reputation. Your participation is essential to amplifying this effort.

• Continental breakfast starting at 8:30 a.m. – a great excuse to arrive early and mingle
• Welcome and campuswide communications updates
• Briefing on the From Labs to Lives campaign and toolkit training
• Feedback and input session
• Hootsuite presentation on creating engaging social content for complex topics like research
• Planning the From Labs to Lives campus "takeover" on October 8, 2025

As always, our meeting is also a chance to reconnect with fellow communicators and introduce yourself to new faces.
