As many of you know, one of my best friends since I was 16, suffered a terrible stroke while in the hospital for a planned heart surgery. This was due to him catching pneumonia while being in the hospital. The heart surgery was actually quite successful. However, he then caught pneumonia and got a blood clot that broke off and went into his brain.
He is paralyzed on his left side, needs a different vehicle / suv because he can’t get in and out of the two they have, lost his job and is working very hard to regain the ability to walk.
I rarely ask people for much, if anything. But if you are in the area or want to be on September 13 or want to support this wonderful cause by donation that would be incredible!
We will be taking anything we can get to make baskets for a silent auction and there will be. A 51/50 raffle (Van Halen reference 😉) and multiple guitar and autographed band memorabilia raffles.
More to come shortly. We currently have three bands locked in working on the fourth! Think, Metallica, Ozzy/Sabbath, acoustic Classics and Alice In Chains music.
