Kayak Experiences - West Lake Park, Railroad Lake

Join Wapsi River Center Staff on Railroad Lake at West Lake Park for an adventure with kayaks. Whether you are a beginner or regular paddler, come out to go over paddling basics. Program includes all equipment use, water safety, kayaking techniques, and a tour of the lake. You may bring your own vessel/PFD, though it must comply with IADNR regulations.
This program is determined by weather and site conditions. Dress appropriately and bring water and sunscreen. note: Weight capacity loads for kayaks are 250-300 lbs./solo and 425-475 lbs./tandem (2 person).
