Join us! 5pm on Tuesday 2 September at Parliament House and stand up against the CLP and their attacks on Aboriginal famlies and communities. This parliamentary sitting marks a year since the CLP has been in power and we say one year too many! Over the last year, the CLP has rammed through law after law that has lead to record high incarceration rates, overcrowding in watchhouses, more kids in jail, and setting conditions for more violence against kids in prison. These laws disproportionately affect Aboriginal families and communities and will not make anyone safer.
Join us to say loud and clear:
- No to locking up ten year olds
- No to pepper spray
- No to arming public transit safety officers and public housing officers
- No to spithoods on our kids
- Yes to justice for White and justice for Walker
- Power back to Aboriginal communities
- It's time for the Albanese Government to call out the CLP and act to stop the attacks on Aboriginal communities here in the NT
As a community we must stand up together and say enough is enough.
We want a government that builds cohesive and thriving communities!
This will be a peaceful and family-friendly event.
