Heavy Vehicle HWY & OFF HWY Diesel Emission Systems
DPF / EGR / AdBlue Diagnostics Course
Mistakes are often made when diagnosing fault codes containing AdBlue, EGR, DEF, DPD DPF and SCR. To avoid unnecessary parts replacement, Clinton Brett will explain in his traditional, simple format, how the EGR system operates and his analogy of emission systems in modern diesel engines.
The emissions system chief in command the DPF, can be utilised as a valuable diagnostic tool. AdBlue, a common terminology used in modern diesel applications, is one of many aftertreatment systems fitted to Euro 4, 5 & 6 applications. Designed to reduce the use of EGR systems, understanding AdBlue and DPF operation and the data will prove its capability as an effective emissions solution.
By providing an insight into the operations and maintenance of these vital exhaust filtration systems, this training will be valuable for your workshop’s future diagnostics.
