Wintering and the Womb
As we approach the threshold of winter, I (Lucy) and Anastasia invite an intimate circle of women to gather in retreat — a sanctuary for rest, renewal, and remembrance. Together, we will prepare for the season of wintering, softening into its teachings, and nourishing ourselves through connection, sisterhood, and the wisdom of the womb.
This retreat is a sensory weaving — a toolkit of practices, rituals, and embodied ways of tending to ourselves as we cross from autumn into winter. We will learn how to surrender with grace, how to root ourselves in nourishment, and how to honour the womb as a well of rhythm and wisdom.
Whether you bleed, walk the path of menopause, or are just beginning to listen to your womb, this space is for you. Together, we will drop into our cyclical nature, attuning to the seasons of autumn and winter as mirrors for our own inward journeys.
Our days will be filled with:
The art of weaving your own womb belt (guest tbc), to carry into you through the winter months as a source of warmth and protection for your kidneys and womb, blessed in ceremony on our final evening
Songs to honour and call in the time of the Cailleach — the ancient goddess of winter — whose presence guides us through the dark
Nourishing, organic meals and snacks that deepen our connection to the land and the turning seasons
Wisdom teachings on the womb, cycles, and practices for tending to our bodies and spirit during the darker months.
The warmth of sisterhood — gathering around the hearth of shared presence, filling our cups before entering into the depths of winter
Ancestral connection as we prepare to step into the Celtic New Year
This retreat is a permission to gather the quiet sanctuaries within. Together, we will rest, weave, sing, and remember — allowing winter to hold us in her deep, dark embrace until the light begins to stir again.
Falling on a new moon, we will be moving with these subtle energies to guide us gently through this threshold.
Spaces limited to 15 women.
