Discover the timeless craft of pyrography ā the art of drawing with fire ā in this warm, welcoming workshop led by Craig and Emma of Side Burner. Pyrography is a beautifully meditative process that invites you to slow down, focus, and create something meaningful. Whether youāre completely new to the craft or have dabbled before, youāll learn how to use heat and texture to bring designs to life on wood.
This session is an especially wonderful opportunity to create a unique gift ā for someone you love or as a handmade treat for yourself. With expert guidance and plenty of inspiration, youāll leave with a personalised piece thatās full of character and completely one-of-a-kind.
The workshop is ideal whether youāre coming with friends for a creative afternoon together, or on your own for a relaxing few hours of artistic escape. Groups are kept small to ensure plenty of one-to-one support and to make the experience friendly, calm and enjoyable.
At the start of the session, youāll choose your base:
ā¢ a chopping board,
ā¢ an egg board, or
ā¢ a natural piece of wood.
From there, youāll learn step-by-step pyrography techniques before creating your own finished piece to take home. If you have a specific design or image in mind, simply contact Side Burner after booking through the website or via their Facebook page.
All materials are included, and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided to keep you fuelled and cosy while you work.
