KS3 Maths/English/Science
This 6-week block will cover the following areas:
Maths 10.00 - 11.00
We will be looking at geometry. After some initial input, each participant will work independently, using Galore Park Maths books matching their level. (You will need to buy the relevant book.)
English 11.00 - 12.00
Having reviewed all grammar covered last year, we will be moving on to types of verbs; sentence types; and subject, objects and predicates. We will also reinforce spelling rules and complete some reading comprehension around the theme of winter and Christmas.
Science 12.30 - 2.00
Using Galore Park Science Book 1 and some experiments, we'll continue looking at biology, learning about plants and animals.
Age: 11 - 14
Cost: £120 for all three subjects
£85 for Science and Maths or English
£70 for Maths and English
£36 for Maths or English
£54 for Science
You will need to provide a ring binder and dividers.
Participants can bring their lunch to eat in the break at 12.00.
