Yes, we are thrilled to announce SPN Children’s Day will be returning to Malvern on Sunday, 1st March 2025, from 11am - 3pm to celebrate NZ Children’s Day! 🌟
This will be our 4th consecutive year, and we know it grows each year! Whilst it might not match the scale of our flagship event in Rolleston (happening the same day), the Malvern Community continues to show amazing support to us bringing this to our rural families in the Malvern region 🙌
We will once again be inviting local community groups to join us and make the day extra special. 🎈 and we welcome “local” food vendors to make contact with us if you’re keen to be involved - just let us know where you’re from and what you offer. Priority will be given to local vendors first.

With Malvern growing rapidly, we know how vital it is for our rural communities to feel connected and included in Selwyn’s events. 💚 We’re so proud to bring a dedicated Children’s Day to the Malvern ward and can’t wait to welcome families from neighboring towns and villages, just like we did with our pilot event. 🏡
Expect FOUR hours of FREE FAMILY FUN for the kids, including inflatables and other exciting activities! 🎉 We’re also in the process of confirming even more local community organisations to make the day unforgettable. If you want to get involved, don’t hesitate to reach out!
