4th Unwanted Witness Privacy Moot Court Competition 2025

The Unwanted Witness Privacy Moot Court Competition is now one of East Africa’s leading platforms for developing legal talent and fostering debate on data protection and privacy. Growing from a Uganda-only event to including Kenya in 2024, its 4th Edition is fully regional, uniting universities from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda to celebrate legal excellence and cross-border collaboration. The 2025 edition will be held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, focusing on the crucial theme of data protection and privacy in national ID systems, highlighting the intersection of technology and human rights in shaping the region’s legal landscape.
