Shadow Barons Parade

The Shadow Baron provide a family friendly parade, rich in throws, on Samedi Gras (pronounced SAH meh dee Grah - Fat Saturday before Fat Tuesday). This year it falls on Valentine's Day. The Shadow Barons have grown, adding a float load of new Barons this year. They are now a well established Eastern Shore Mardi Gras tradition. Thanks to the strong support of Daphne, AL and surrounding communities, they will continue offering revelers their own unique style of Family Friendly Mardi Gras “Bons Temps”. The 2026 parade will be the best yet!
The parade begins at the Daphne Civic Center at 6:45 pm on Saturday, February 14th, 2026 and proceeds south down Main St. (Scenic 98) past Christ the King Church. It circles behind the Church and returns to Main at Manci’s Corner. The parade then continues north back to the Civic Center.
Make your plans to join the fun. Bring LARGE, HEAVY DUTY bags or wagons with tall sides for the throws you catch. Seriously!
