Indian Classical Music - Talk & Workshop

We are thrilled to present two maestros of Hindustani classical music, Sris Nilimesh Chakraborty (tabla) and Arnab Bhattacharya (sarod) of Kolkata, India for an afternoon of artistic discussion and musical performance. Music lovers, students of music, adventurous souls: enter the land of ragas (melodies) and talas (rhythms) and enjoy a unique examination of music theory, practice, culture and philosophy set to mesmerizing live sounds. Come with questions and open ears, and see you riverside 1-3 pm on Saturday 20 September! Entry to the afternoon workshop is an eminently reasonable 50k.
