The Lincoln County Community Theater is excited to announce auditions for this year’s holiday production, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” by Barbara Robinson.
In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple, struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant, is faced with casting the Herdman kids--probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem - and the fun - when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on! This delightful comedy, adapted from the bestselling Young Adult Book has plenty of great roles for children and adults, a few favorite Christmas carols, and lots of laughs.
AUDITIONS will be held in PORTER HALL at SKIDOMPHA LIBRARY, Damariscotta:
Monday, September 29, 6:00-8:00pm
Tuesday, September 30 , 6:00-8:00pm
PERFORMANCES at the LINCOLN THEATER:
Friday, December 19 at 7pm
Saturday, December 20 at 7pm
Sunday, December 21 at 2pm
Adults and children will be asked to read from the script and children may be asked to sing a Christmas carol or short song. No music is necessary.
Rehearsals will be held in Damariscotta and will take place either after school, early evenings, or on Saturdays (depending on cast availability).
