1st Course - Selection of cheese poppers filled with either onion, jalapeno or corn - Paired with: Chenin Blanc subtle tropical fruit blossoms on the nose with nectarine, Chinese white pear with honeycomb notes and fresh citrus.
2nd Course - Nutty herb encrusted mussels on a bed of shredded kale and green apple with a beurre blanc butter dressing - Paired with: Sauvignon Blanc An incredibly inviting and complex nose, showing passion fruit, ripe fig, and kiwi.
3rd Course - Chicken breasts stuffed with apricots, wild rice and mushroom, served with an orange liqueur - Paired with: Chardonnay Features layered tropical fruits like apricot, paw-paw, and mango, with citrus zest, blood orange, and undertones of biscotti and shortbread.
4th Course - Slow-roasted Oxtail ragout served with tagliatelle, fresh herbs and parmesan shavings - Paired with: Cabernet Sauvignon Full bodied red wine with notes of red and dark fruits like blackcurrant, dark cherry, and strawberry, complemented by hints of rose water, forest floor, mocha, and chocolate.
5th Course - Chateaubriand medallions served on a crushed baby potato, seared asparagus and a red wine jus flambeed table side - Paired with: Private Collection Syrah Beautiful ruby colour wine with a nose that has alluring spice notes of freshly crushed black pepper, white pepper, cloves, cumin and coriander seeds.
6th Course - Roasted pear in a red wine, anise and cinnamon sauce and a fresh cream topping Paired with: Diamond Hill Syrah Freshly crushed black pepper and warm cinnamon spice leap out of the glass.
