WHO: Alison Gerber, editor of the Chattanooga Times Free Press, and Chris Vass, who oversees the dual opinion pages and Sunday Perspective section, will speak and answer YOUR questions about the challenges of covering and writing the news at a time when attention spans are dwindling, print media is dying, and there are increasing numbers of competitive news outlets. They will address the complexities of writing about what is happening in our world, the importance of a reading with a critical eye, and how to avoid “news burnout.” FREE ADMISSION
