🍽️ Dish It Out – Serving Dish Class at the Back Mountain Makery 🍷
It’s time to serve some serious style this holiday season—with a handmade serving dish that’ll have your guests saying, “Wait… you MADE that?” 😍
You’ll get to choose between two fabulous forms:
✨ An oval dish—simple, elegant, and ready for your secret-recipe side dish Finished size will be 11 1/2" x 8" x 1"
✨ A scalloped-edge deep dish—ideal for casseroles, stuffing, or “accidentally” making too much mac and cheese Finished size will be 10 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 2"
Choose your clay:
🌰 Dark hazelnut clay (moody and rich—like your favorite fall latte)
☁️ Creamy white clay (clean, classic, and Pinterest-worthy)
We’ll provide beautiful textured lace to press into your clay, but if you have a special doily, lace scrap, or even a spice you love—yes, spice—bring it along! (Cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise… it’s like aromatherapy with bragging rights.)
Oh, and yes—it’s BYOB. Because shaping clay is even more fun when you’re sipping with your bestie and giggling about your lopsided dish that’s “totally rustic on purpose.”
Seating is limited! When you purchase your ticket you pick which dish you would like to make.
This is a non-refundable class unless cancelled by Jo Pilston Pottery or Back Mountain Makery. If you can't make it, you can transfer your ticket. There must be a minimum of 8 people to hold the class. If the minimum isn't met, the class could be cancelled by Jo Pilston Pottery.
