NEW PARK, WHO THIS?
I have decided to explore other parks in the Metroplex. Don't get me wrong, I really like TP Hill and the lake views, but I have been doing events there for 4 years solid.
* The parking is a beast, the porta-potties are a disaster, the playground is uncovered, old and (seemingly) far away. For our friends that come with their kids (which as you know is many), the playground was isolated from the party by a retaining wall & fence. When you are up there keeping an eye on your kiddo... kinda not able to vibe with the party-at-hand.
THIS playground is located right off the pavilion, and open to the grounds surrounding it.
I haven't used the restroom there, but I can promise you this... they can't be as bad as the ones at TP Hill. 🤢🤮
This is a large open park with walking paths and lots of shade trees and plenty of greenspace.
No, we don't have the lake view, but we DO have the music... which is way cooler anyways.
As always, we say...
"LEAVE NO TRACE"
(the event permits are very expensive and deposits are returned on condition left)
