🍂 Mug Life: Handbuilt Mug Class at the Back Mountain Makery ☕
Ready to roll into fall with your very own handmade mug? Join us for a cozy, clay-filled evening where we’ll be handbuilding mugs that are as unique as your coffee order (yes, even you with the triple shot oat milk half-caff vanilla foam situation).
You'll get to choose between rich dark hazelnut clay (mmm, classy) or a creamy white clay (yes, it's giving pottery barn vibes). We’ll teach you all the handbuilding techniques you need—no pottery wheel required! Play with textured rollers (we’ve got some fresh fall ones 🍁), lace, stamps, and all the good stuff that makes your mug one-of-a-kind.
Grab a friend, bring your creativity, and BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage, or Bring Your Own Bestie... or both). Let's get muddy and make some magic!
🍂 Everything is included:
All materials and tools are provided—just bring your imagination (and maybe your favorite fall playlist in your head).
Whether it’s warm, spiced, hard, or just apple-y… sip while you sculpt. Pumpkin vibes encouraged but not required.
🍂 After class:
Jo will carefully take your mug babies back to her studio to dry, fire, and glaze in the color you choose. Then keep your eyes on Facebook for the live kiln reveal, where your creations will make their fiery debut!
🎁 Finished mugs will be delivered back to The Back Mountain Makery, wrapped and ready to go home with you just in time for sweater weather.
