Tadeáš Kopřiva – South Moravia | Folk Arts & Youth Education
Tadeáš is a high school student and Education Coordinator at the Moravian Glory Foundation, where he leads workshops on traditional Moravian folk arts and manages an ethnographic collection. Active in Czech Scouting, he’s passionate about youth work and plans to become a teacher. He’ll represent Moravian culture in the U.S. through the 2025 grant program.
Ludmila Zahrádková – Hovorany / Šardice, South Moravia | Folk Ornamentation
Ludmila is a folk artist known for painting ceremonial ribbons, textiles, buildings, and umbrellas with traditional Slovácko motifs. A self-taught master of embroidery, fabric painting, and sand drawing, she preserves Moravian heritage through her art. This summer, she’ll share her work abroad for the first time, joined by her daughter.
Jana Kůrková – Hovorany / Vysočina | Folk Art & Education
Jana is a visual artist, teacher, and designer who blends Moravian folk ornament with modern media. Originally from Hovorany, she now lives near Pacov and teaches art to future educators. Her expressive work spans textiles, wood, and glass. This year, she’ll co-lead ornament workshops in the U.S. alongside her mother, sharing folk art across generations.
