About the event

Honey Tasting Party & Competition with Trinity Valley Beekeepers Association
Once a year, TVBA hosts a special gathering where local beekeepers compete for the coveted title of “Best Honey in Dallas.” Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a diverse array of honeys, celebrating the incredible bounty produced by our local pollinators. The evening will feature special honey tasting party content for everyone's enjoyment. Snacks and drinks will also be provided.

This event is a must-attend for anyone interested in the fascinating world of bees, local food, and community. Whether you're a seasoned beekeeper, a curious gardener, or simply a fan of delicious honey, you're encouraged to join. The competition will be judged by attendees at the event.

Lisa Dittfurth of Crooked Creek Apiary will be presenting on "How to Make Cream Honey” and discussing its discovery and history." As usual, the monthly Beginner Beekeeping class will be offered free of charge at 6 PM.

*Honey Tasters/Attendees: If you plan to attend and taste the honey offerings please RSVP at www.tvbees.org.

*Beekeepers/Competitors: Competition table space is limited and will be prioritized for members of TVBA. Even if you're not competing but wish to offer samples of your honey, please let TVBA know when you RSVP. Table space is available only for competitors and does not include additional space for sales/displays (though you are welcome and encouraged to sell your honey).
