FAST Class: Growing Wine Cap Mushrooms & Demo

NHG welcomes Mushroom Street Farms for a free class and demo.

NEW! Did you know that not only can you grow your own mushrooms inside, but that you can grow them permanently outdoors?

Join Mushroom Street's General Manager Garrett Shovan for this special introductory class to the world of perennial mushrooms, and then experience a demo afterward to learn how to grow and harvest them at home. We'll be planting wine cap mushrooms, using wine cap mushroom 'spawn', the product that is made of sawdust and wine cap mycelium, which is broken up and spread out in the bed location and "lasagna" planted with straw and wood chips. You'll be shown the process, including tips on their environmental parameters and care notes. FREE.
