Program Description

HAIR CARE: 800 Hours
Cutting, styling, coloring, chemical textures, and related theory and application; business
skills; professional development and salon management; health; safety; laws
Haircutting and hairstyling, Shaving

NAIL CARE: 100 Hours
Manicuring and related theory and applications, business skills; professional development
and salon management; health; safety; laws

SKIN CARE: 100 Hours
Facials, hair removal, related theory and application; business skills; professional
development and salon management; health; safety; laws
Approximate time for completion of the full time Barber Program is 29 weeks and 50 weeks
for part time students. Course Completion dates are subject to attending 35 hours per
week for full-time or 20 hours per week for part time. Classes begin once monthly. To be
licensed in the state of Texas as a Cosmetology Operator, graduates must pass the Theory
and Practical State Board Examinations.
