Introducing: Jon Zellhart!

Jon is the trumpet soloist for Telemann's Trumpet Concerto this Sunday, Feb 22 at Zion Lutheran's Bach Vespers at 6 pm. Telemann is prelude to the 6 pm Vespers service which will include Bach's Concerto 126- Erhalt uns, Herr, bei deinem Wort.

Jon Zellhart is a graduate of both Duquesne University and Carnegie Mellon University in classical trumpet and vocal performance. Having studied with the foremost teachers, Jon brings a unique approach to his playing and directing from having extensive studies and performances in both the orchestra and opera worlds. Outside of the church, being an in-demand performer has taken him to locations across the world including the Vatican with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and a performance of Parsifal in Vienna. Jon is currently the music director of the second largest parish in the country, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
