Ash Wednesday @ Hope

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season, which is the six-week period, excluding Sundays, where we prepare our lives for the glory of Easter. Christians all over the world observe this day by having the sign of the cross made on the forehead, called the imposition of ashes. The significance of the ash is to remind us that we are mortal sinners in need of an eternal savior. Make plans to join us at 7pm on February 18 as we begin the season of Lent in preparation for Easter.
